The Best Escape Games 2025
2025 was an extraordinary year for me! I played a total of 549 escape rooms in 20 countries – that’s pretty much an average of 1.5 rooms per day. There were so many new, innovative, and surprising games that I was thrilled to experience. I’m especially happy that once again, some of my personal highlights came from Germany.

In previous years, I usually limited my highlights to around 20. But this year, I traveled more than ever and encountered an exceptional number of outstanding new rooms. As a result, my list of highlights is longer this time – and I could have easily added another dozen if I had wanted to.
