How did we get into this shit? As vampires, chained in a cell, we wait for our predetermined fate. Dawn is already beginning. The light of day will mean our certain death and make us collapse into a pile of ashes. We have little time left …

Trapped is one of the larger providers in Athens. The branches in Paleo Faliro, Neo Kosmos, and Chalandri offer a dozen different themed rooms. There should be something for every taste. This was our second visit to Trapped Chalandri, where we had already played Experimentum X (highly recommended).

There are a few elements that are positive about Daylight. The original game concept, in which by means of a sophisticated mechanism, a “heated atmosphere” is created among the vampires, as the gravity of the situation is painfully demonstrated to them at all times. That was very funny! Furthermore, the help system, which demands a sacrifice every time from those involved, which will take revenge in the final accounts. And also the point system in which remaining time and achievements during the game play a role.

We struggled with one of the initial puzzles that we didn’t find entirely intuitive or logical. We left a lot of time (and points) here. In the further course it went better. Some of the tasks are a bit complex, but most of them can be solved in parallel. The gamemaster was “in character” the whole time and did a good job.

Daylight for 3-4 vampires (recommended sun protection factor 500+)
