We played 24 games on this visit to Athens and this was (for me) in my top 5.

I left buzzing and with adrenaline running high. Which seems highly appropriate for the name of this company and a very cool logo to match.

This game is a little different in style to most games in Athens and takes on a more video game feel, it was a welcomed contrast and one that I thoroughly enjoyed.

This game, like most, started straightaway and after we nailed the correct brief (this doesn’t always happen). We were prepped and ready to go. Even this part was fun, giving us chance to get ourselves into character.

As with many games in Athens this had it all, cinematics, narrative and great acting. With role play also. The space isn’t huge and may not be as stunning as some games but it fit the scene perfectly. The puzzles fit the narrative nicely and were in keeping with the gameplay, they were intuitive leaning on them needing a little bit more thought at times.

The transitions through the game were accompanied by some perfectly timed acting with some lovely theatrics and lighting. What I love is, when it’s precise. The actors were fantastic and timed everything beautifully.

Similar to the game, the acting had a slightly different feel to other games. I felt with this game, the more you put in the more you got out of the experience.

Athens are well known for their scares and although definitely not the scariest game we played, this was the only game that made each and every one of us have a full jump moment, this just added to the enjoyment and laughs.

There was also a lovely actor intervention with one of our team which we all enjoyed watching play out.

This music for this game was awesome and it was never too loud which we sometimes struggled with in games, (the Greeks love it loud) the music continued to heighten and towards the end, just got better, matching the fun and frantic finale that kept me smiling the whole time. Definitely the best soundtrack I heard.

At the end of this game we got the chance to speak with the owners and the actors.

We thank you for your extended welcome and kind hospitality.

It was a highlight of my trip.
