The Lock Academy is a renowned detective school in Paris, which its founder, the brilliant Professor Lock, suddenly plans to sell to his worst enemy, the criminal Jim Key. This is met with great incomprehension by the students of the academy, and so a team of budding, outraged detectives immediately set out on a mission to find out what is behind the popular professor’s strange behaviour and to prevent the sale of their academy.

Lock Academy is one of the providers most likely to be mentioned when someone asks for recommendations in Paris. There are two locations in the French capital (Sébastopol and Châtelet), which are about a 15-minute walk from each other. In addition, other Lock Academy branches can also be found in Troyes and Toulouse, but they do not add to Paris’ gaming offerings.

An exciting time travel in the sense of Back to the Future through different eras. From the retro style of the 70s (Austin Powers sends his regards), to the future and back to the present. A not quite everyday story with nice special effects, original mechanisms and game elements, as well as a good pinch of humor. A successful show performance by our gamemaster during the game also provided amusement.

Entertaining, varied puzzles (observation, communication, pattern matching) and tasks (some with a stress factor) that are well embedded in the story and environment. The team size should not exceed four detectives.
