This is a review of the Escape Room “Secret Novel” offered by No Hope 2 in Athens, Greece.

A solid horror-leaning room with very fun – and often perfectly timed – jump scares. It doesn’t go over the top the way many Athens horror rooms can. Instead, it stays actively scary in a way that keeps everyone tense… the kind of game where you don’t want to go first, and definitely don’t want to go last.

The cinematics were great, and while this isn’t a pure puzzle room, the puzzles were better than expected for a horror experience – decent, fair, and still satisfying. The room also nails a few genuine “wow” moments, including 1–2 elements we hadn’t seen before. That kind of novelty always earns bonus points from me.

If you want scary without excessive chaos – and you still want a game that respects puzzle-solving – this is a strong pick.
