De Kraakfabriek is a beautiful old brick building on the quay of Schedule in Antwerp. The escape game provider of the same name offers three sixty-minute scenarios that can be booked at a fixed price of 120€ / room. You should allow some time to find a parking space in this part of the city. The bunker requires a minimum of 3 players and can be played in English or Dutch.

It is a classic escape game theme. The scenario is about a nuclear incident in the Antwerp area. To escape the disaster, we have to access the nearby nuclear bunker and activate all vital systems inside.

The mission begins in front of the locked bunker door. In order to open it, several steps are necessary, in which we can split up well. Once we have gained access, we have to start up the necessary systems and equipment that will ensure our survival. The systems (control cabinets / control desks) are self-constructed and are not, as often found in similar missions, overloaded with switches, buttons, lights, but relatively clear.

The individual systems require different input parameters, which have to be found by puzzling or observing. Everyone can contribute his part. There are also some mechanical tasks. One of them I liked especially well, because it was very original and needed several people to complete it. The puzzles were conclusive and it is usually clear what the goal is. At the end we had twelve minutes remaining on the clock, but at one point we also asked for a hint. Not an outstanding, but a solid escape game for 3-4 players.
