Not too long after the opening of their third room „secret tales of the brother‘s grimm“- Next Level opened their fourth and probably last room at the current location.

„The dark memories of Elisa Doll“ was announced as a spooky room which let me personally think a few minutes if I am willing to play it or not (I am definitely not a horror fan!).

Finally I couldn’t refuse Heiner‘s request to play it with him.

Elisa Doll started in a not very inviting eighties-dirt-surrounding. It didn‘t take us long time to get into the story about Elisa Doll, a girl who was mysteriously turning into a puppet. The technical health center of Kloten contacted Dr. Eisenbarth, the leading brain scientist, to help them. He tried to research Elisas memories what finally made the doctor disappear and let chrono-toxin ooze out of the memory-machine.

Since then, the clinic was completely abandoned and it’s on us to uncover the truth behind these happenings.

While passing many different rooms of various styles, we always kept the central theme of the story about elisa in mind and couldn’t wait to safe her from her horrible destiny. Even for a fraidy-cat like me the room was absolutely fine to play and the spooky moments didn’t interrupt the flow of the game at all.

The builders did a great job in decorating the rooms and the very well involved story made absolutely sense to us.

We hope that the missing space doesn’t distract “Next Level Escape” from bringing their new ideas and visions into more great escape rooms!
