After thirty years at sea, Gustaf Enoksson starts a new life as a lighthouse keeper in San Julián – but peace is only an illusion. The tower’s owner is drowning in debt and plans to extinguish the beacon, dooming an entire ship in a cynical insurance fraud. Suddenly, countless lives depend on us. Can we reignite the light before it’s too late?

The Lighthouse was easily my personal favorite among the 32 escape games we played on our recent tour through Sweden – and that for several reasons. First of all, the location itself is one of the most beautiful I have ever experienced for an escape game. Nestled in the heart of nature, it feels absolutely magical. If you can, set aside some extra time to truly soak in this idyllic spot (did I really say that?) – it’s like stepping into an enchanted forest. We were warmly welcomed and excellently taken care of, which immediately made us feel at home.

The game itself is just as remarkable: the theme is refreshingly original and stands apart from the usual concepts escape games tend to recycle. Beneath the lighthouse roof lies a treasure trove of ingenious puzzles – a rich mix of logical and mechanical challenges, many of which call for teamwork. With the three of us fully immersed from start to finish, we were determined to avert disaster.

After 54 exciting minutes, we finally managed to rekindle the beacon’s light. What an adventure! The Lighthouse is, without a doubt, a must-play escape room for any trip to Sweden.

After Gustaf Enoksson has been at sea for 30 years, strong emotions are aroused when he meets Juliana Lazcano in the Argentine coastal town of San Julián. He decides to go ashore and work as a lighthouse keeper at the Faro de la Roca lighthouse outside the city.
The businessman Roberto Marcos who lives in San Julián owns the lighthouse that Gustaf works on. He has made a fortune in shady dealings, but has recently incurred large debts and needs to cash in. He therefore plans to turn off the lighthouse at the right time to allow one of his cargo ships to run on the rocks outside the lighthouse and collect insurance money.
In the fall of 1968, Gustaf gets a well-deserved vacation and Roberto Marcos sees his chance to put the plan into action. He rigs the lighthouse to go out one hour before the ship arrives. So that no one can light it again, he again blocks the way up to the lighthouse, but places clues for himself to be able to quickly turn the lighthouse again.
One of Roberto Marco’s cronies thinks his boss has crossed the line, and gives you the scoop information about what will happen. You bring some friends with you to prevent the disaster but you are in a hurry! The ship is approaching and in an hour it will be smashed against the sharp rocks of the coast. Can you light the lighthouse before it’s too late?
