Underworld
This is a review of the Escape Room “Underworld” offered by Amaze in 60 in
Boadilla del Monte, Spain.
While this room does share elements and concepts with horror escape rooms, the creator is actually tried to go for more of a funny experience, nearly attempting to parody some of the horror tropes.
The horror aspects in the room are very nice, and at least for one of them seeing the behind the scenes aspect of it is simply hilarious.
At the same time, the puzzles themselves are very nice. This is one of those rooms in which the puzzles don’t form a complex plot progression, as much as “there’s a lot of stuff to do and solve, get going”. I really enjoyed those kinds of rooms, and I think that in this one it was done very well, and very fitting in the theme.
