Lagerraum 42

Excitement builds as we’ve won the bid for our first abandoned storage room. Stepping inside we find crates, many crates, unfortunately they’re filled with soda bottles. Empty ones. This is a big let down… unless… what’s this over here.

Our game master informed us this room was incomplete, as much of the decoration was still needed. It was meagre in that regards, but we’ve certainly played rooms with less decoration than this. While the entry had some shelves, I didn’t get the feeling of being in an abandoned storage locker. The big machine was nice, but let’s hope they improve the overall atmosphere.

The puzzles were of mixed quality. A few of the classics made their appearance and scant little in terms of new ideas. Progression was logical and the three of us were never idling about.

We made a grave error at the beginning that threw us for a loop later. The game master furthered our error with counterproductive hints — as he didn’t notice what we did wrong. This cost us a lot of time and knocked the fun level down.

It’s an okay room, but nothing special.
