Pursuit of Assassin Artist has a very funny and new, well thought out game concept (we didn’t have one like this before) for a live video escape game. It reminded me a bit of the board game T.I.M.E. Stories. Our mission contains two points that must be fulfilled to bring the mission to a successful conclusion. But what I also found to be a pretty cool idea, beyond that there is the possibility to gain certain achievements during the game.

We work hand in hand with the talented secret agent Sarah, who is on site to bring down the suspected killer. Sarah, as our avatar, has done an excellent job. She always stayed in her role and carried out our instructions perfectly. Also, her counterpart Daniel, in the role of the artist Nissassa, acted very well. If you like role-playing, you will love this creative game with funny dialogues, a lot of improvisation and some unexpected twists and turns. We had a great time!

The gameplay is excellent, the tasks and puzzles are varied, original and themed. Also the setting – an artist’s apartment with a few nice gimmicks – is just as you imagine it. There was nothing to complain about in picture and sound. If necessary, the agents are supported by the well implemented Telescape Inventory, with 360-degree views of the premises and everything else needed to take a closer look at something during the game. A very entertaining and amusing mission, where we enjoyed the 90 minutes of game time to the fullest.

There are certainly several ways in this game that lead to the goal. Be creative and have the courage to make a mistake. The game concept will forgive you. Mostly.
