Trouble in Tinseltown is one of those escape games that I think are more fun to play as a live video escape room than if you play them on location. Five of us would have been a little crowded in that room and probably we would have finished it quickly. Online, on the other hand, the whole thing works quite well, even in the constellation. The game master was in-character the whole time, was able to implement the instructions of the players and never spoiled any puzzles by his camera angles.

The game has no additional inventory or dashboard. Trouble in Tinseltown captures well the atmosphere of a 1940s black and white Hollywood movie. The number, variety and quality of the puzzles are good, and everything worked fine for remote play. The game flow was – except for a small faux pas on our part, which took some time off the clock, and certainly would not have happened to us on location – given throughout. I like the game.
