Abduction 3 – The Exam

Initially I thought this was a scary room, it certainly sounds like it. However, it really isn’t, but, what it is, is fun and physical. Definitely not for people feeling fragile or wanting to take it easy.

I can imagine this game isn’t for everyone but it was right up my street. I love a physical game. The more climbing, strength and agility the better.

There was one puzzle where I actually wasn’t quite sure they were expecting us all to do this, but yes. If one of you are doing it, you’re all doing it.

There was a point near the end of this game that I felt like I was back in school.(You probably need to be ancient like me to appreciate this part!)

I can imagine if you don’t work together, this could get tiring pretty quickly. Luckily after a few repetitions, we got our groove and despite literally hanging on for dear life, we managed to move on.

The game felt a bit raw and edgy. It certainly wasn’t wowing us with fantastic sets but it fit the narrative beautifully.

This game felt like it could pretty much do anything and it would fit the theme.

It used physical, mental, collaborative puzzles and although gritty, in my opinion, it never stopped feeling fun. I had a smile from beginning to end and despite an epic trip playing top tier games, this kept poking its way into my thoughts as a very fun favourite.

The last pat of this game had me laughing afterwards. Being deeply competitive but equally not bothered about losing it turns out, that half my team are more than deeply competitive.

This turned into a battle for a win that I definitely thought I’d lost and given the sheer joking between two members about who was winning, I didn’t think I was even contending. Turns out, I didn’t do so bad.

Wasn’t the only time on this trip, that the best team won.

The takeaway from this game, if you want something fun and physical then put it on the list.

If physical is not your thing, perhaps skip it or definitely bear it in mind.
