I had been eagerly awaiting this game since it was announced long time ago. I even hoped to play it in our last trip to Madrid in January 2020, but it was not open back then. Expectations were high and the comments heard about it were promising.
Sometimes horror rooms tend to repeat themselves and for us it was not the first time in our escape career facing an evil nun. It is actually a topic repeatedly found in Spain and Greece, which is not surprising given that religion is much more present in these countries compared to, for instance, the Netherlands. In any case, I am happy to say, that this was not just one more room with this topic, but rather a room that clearly stands out and positions itself among the top of its kind.
The only thing that can be objected about this room is that it is not for the faint of heart, but horror lovers like Heiner and myself will certainly enjoy this room. Even though I had heard about a certain aspect in connection with this room, which I will not spoil for you, encountering it was quite impressive. The setting is simply stunning.
If the setting is not enough, a very good acting, which combines traditional scares with theatrical scenes, and even had a certain moment of humor, rounds up a very complete experience, which also makes a great use of sound and light effects.
One could of course object, that there were not so many riddles, and the whole experience was rather task based, but to be honest, I did not care at all. If you are only looking for riddles, you might want to search somewhere else, but if you are up for a fantastic experience, you cannot miss this game.
As a final note, the minimum official number of players is four, but if I can correctly recall, three should be enough from a physical point of view to perform all tasks, but make sure to check it with the company beforehand.
