The Toy Factory
An English translation of the Toy Factory is in progress. However, the owner, Wout, did not dare to give us a specific date. So be it! We didn’t want to wait any longer and luckily we found the second necessary Dutch-speaking player in Joyce.
The toy factory, a family business in the 5th generation, is not doing well. The outlook is anything but rosy and the motivation of the workforce is rock bottom. The company is constantly looking for new employees and does not make any special demands on the applicants. That’s why we gladly accept the invitation to try it out.
The foreman shows us our lockers, we slip into our smart, brown work overalls, start our tester day with an introduction and then go through other stations of the production process.
The Toy Factory is a game right up my alley that starts as soon as you step through the door. The story is very well thought out and original, the setting is grandiose and coherent, the puzzles and tasks are themed and just fun, and as the icing on the cake, there are also a few moments of surprise waiting for the interns.
The minimum number of players is four. However, I would not recommend playing with more than 4 people in order not to ruin this great experience.
