This is a review of the Escape Room “Illuminati Headquarters” offered by One Hour Lockup in Naarden, Netherlands.

After the Zodiac Room we played also the newer game Illuminat Headquarters. This room has a beautiful decoration a nice atmosphere and puzzles which are well integrated.

It is the complete opposite of the Zodiac Killer. Here, the use of locks was completely dispensed with and a lot of technology was used instead. But is the room better because of that? We disagreed. Personally, I liked Zodiac a bit better. With Illuminati i had sometime a

Information overflow. Then I quit because everything became too chaotic and I couldn’t follow the story and the progress of the game any more.

Probably our team was oversized for this room by 1-2 persons.

I think, as a team of three for example, it’s much easier to play this difficult game, because then you get more structure and keep a better overview.
