I love rooms with a good theme and ambience. I enjoy writing about the wonderful decorations and fantasy worlds. Alas, you’ll have none of that here. Illusional Mind is the opposite of a good theme. You could make one trip to the hardware store in a compact car and build it yourself.

Nothing about this room is inspiring, or even interesting. You don’t feel part of the story. Perhaps because the story is only told through a tiny low-quality monitor perched high on the wall. It’s a single room with little sense of progress. Oh, I guess, the tiny brain on the wall does light up.

The room contains about six puzzles. One of them is a team building exercise. One is a time sink because of poor implementation. The others are decent, but a room needs far more than that.

It’s only worthwhile to enter Illusional Mind if you’re part of the removal crew, there to take out the crap and make space for a new room.
