Stanley Kubrick’s cult horror shocker “The Shining” with Jack Nicholson was obviously the inspiration for this room. A very detailed replica of a real hotel with lots of rooms. Challenging Puzzles and very successful surprise moments. Friendly hosts and a good service. We really enjoyed our stay in Room 237.
It’s July 23, 1970 as the writer Charles Grady with his wife and two daughters move takes our hotel. He plans to stay for a long time so he could perfect his latest book in peace.
Apparently, it is that peace which ensured that Charles already has lost touch with reality and is totally absorbed in his book.
It is a mystery to everyone exactly what happens, but Charles Grady and his family have never checked out of room 237.
