The Creation

This is a review of the Escape Room “The Creation” offered by Cronologic in Barcelona, Spain.

The Creation (Chronologic 1) was one of the first Escapegames in Barcelona, has got a complete facelift and is actually the newer game of the two.

The story of The Creation catapults us back in time to find the inventor of the time machine without whose help we are trapped in the past.

Unfortunately, both Cronologic scenarios aren’t playable in English. That’s why I played together with three locals who tried their best to translate for me. That wasn’t always quite successful in the course of the game. On the one hand our English was not very fluent, on the other hand there were a lot of parallel events and places of action. So that in the end I lost the overview and couldn’t follow the events completely. That’s a shame, because it will surely lose some of the experience you have as a native speaker here.

The setting is really great and there are some innovative ideas and cool moments. Anyway I liked the Creation more than the sequel The Journey continues. Game recommendation 3-4 persons.
