Hostal 83 Hater
Hostel 83 Hater is a totally crazy experience (as you are used to from this provider). A mixture of escape game, mini-games and competitions, in which everyone plays for themselves (and everyone competes against everyone else), and that at full speed over the entire 64 minutes of gameplay. There are certain points for solving puzzles according to their level of difficulty, which increases as you get further away from the “base”. But you can also collect certain bonuses and penalties in other ways, for example, give a fellow player a helping hand, or wipe out the worst competitor for overall victory. A really sophisticated game concept in which everyone has to find their own strategy, depending on their personal strengths. In the end, we were surprisingly close in terms of points.
Put on athletic clothing because you will sweat. The minimum number of players is four people, but here I would say for once, the more the better. It’s a polarizing game. Either you love it or hate it. Maybe that’s where the name comes from.
Hater is not an Escape Game that impresses with a great scenery – many of the puzzles and tasks are rather simple in construction – BUT, if you are up for an unusual and fast-paced challenge, in which there is a lot to laugh about, you will get your money’s worth in this game. An absolutely deserved 2nd place in the category “Most Original Game” at the Escape Room Awards 2022!
Anyone hoping for a reunion with the legendary “Mii” will unfortunately be disappointed here and will have to wait for the completion of “Inmortum 2”. As a little foretaste, you can order the highly recommended Pizza Inmortum in the adjoining bar and enjoy a well-deserved beer.
