I love it when escape rooms use themes that aren’t overdone. For instance, some rooms use the theme of an old timey train, some use the theme of Cthulhu, etc.
Anyway, this is a room about resurrecting Cthulu within an old timey train!

All jokes aside, kudos to them on the theme. The two aspects of it, that are derived from some game, blend perfectly.

The Orient Express has disappeared mid journey, but many years later, you found a way to travel through time, enter it, and solve its mystery!
As you slowly go more and more insane, you traverse the train, searching for the Necronomicon, aka the book of death – that is clearly related to this situation.

The game uses very mild horror, with funny acting, great puzzles, and a very unique ambiance, to create an excellent and very original experience, which made me want to go on more trains – and definitely read less books.
