D-Day

This is a review of the Escape Room “D-Day” offered by Dia D Room Escape in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain.

Let’s start with the positive aspects of this room – the theme is not one of the ones that is too widely used, which is always appreciated. In addition, some parts of the room really linked into the theme, and really felt like very nice creation decisions that helped the immersion. I will also say that’s one of the puzzles in the room is, in my opinion, simply fantastic, the kind that is simple, elegant, and hard not to like.

Unfortunately, that cannot be said about most of the room. Most of the puzzles in the room seemed to make not a lot of sense, to say the least. The issue with some of them can actually be solved quite easily, but it seems that said changes are not to be expected in the near future. In addition to that, for a room that is based on such an adrenaline based concept, I feel like some design decisions were quite peculiar, and call the height created by the introduction to disappear quite quickly.
