The opening of «The house of uncle Cornelius», the third adventure of the Grand Trip Trap Hotel, was one of our main motivations of travelling to the French part of Switzerland again. Since «Aunt Hilda’s room» still is in our minds of being one of the best rooms ever seen/experienced. Our big question was to find out if the brains and builders of Trip Trap were able to create a comparably good room again….?

Cornelius de la Trappe, Mr Trippolyte’s younger brother and a real globetrotter, welcomed us in his cosy living room. He used to travel around the world and experienced hundreds of adventures about which he would love to tell us. We immediately immerged in his exciting stories and could hardly wait to discover all those diverse scenes of which he was telling us. At a certain point in the game we felt like little kids again, wanting to explore and experience the pure joy of not caring about anything and just doing what we felt like doing.

This room definitely boosts your imagination and stimulates your curiosity in a way I never saw before in an escape room.

Coming back to our main question about the possibility of building a comparably good room as «Aunt Hilda’s room», we can definitely answer with: YES, they can!
