Trapped in a cage as the witching hour approaches, I must escape before becoming a “guest” for dinner. My memories are hazy. How did I get here? I shall note for the future that mysterious castles are not a safe place to seek refuge from a storm. And no measure of fine art and pleasant cutlery make up dastardly invitations.

I played two rooms from this provider and am delighted with the theme of both of them. While somewhat spartan, the decorations provide enough backdrop to feel like a castle — at least I let my imagination take me there.

Though limited, some well-placed audio elements include a dose of shock factor. Though I‘d not say the room is scary. They could improve it with some further elements, perhaps lightning and flickering lights.

The game combines a variety of searching, logic, and number puzzles. Though thankfully, very few of those number ones. Aside from an unfortunate drawer puzzle and an uninspired chess board, the problems were gratifying.

A good room with a solid theme.
