A blaring radio greets me as I enter my hotel room. Its numbers dance about then settle upon 60:00. Next to the bed lay an ominous police folder: crime scene photos from within this room! Perhaps this adventure is too much for me? I turn about and try the door to leave. It’s locked. And the radio has ticked down to 59:13.
I enjoyed this room for its cohesive thematic elements. Sure, there are a few quirky puzzles, but mostly, everything fits together. Most of the puzzles were integrated with the room, as opposed to merely residing in the room. Our solutions all came from logic, with no hints. However , we got confused on one puzzle, leading to a bit of frustration. It was our fault for making a false association because of unlucky timing within the game.
The room could use more atmosphere. Though thematically it was consistent, it was still basic. There was little supporting the supernatural theme.
A good room that’s fun and worthwhile playing.
