The Metro

This is a review of the Escape Room “The Metro” offered by The Game in Paris, France.

The Game is one of the best known and most popular providers in Paris. There are currently eight different missions (some exist twice) to choose from on around 1500 m2. There are two Locations – at Cardinal Lemoine and Saint-Michel.

We have played the latter two. Since most games are in the same place, it was accordingly busy. However, there is time for a welcome drink.

THE METRO: The train just broke down at the metro station. Traffic is dense and they fear a crash any moment now! Our Team has to act quickly, restart the train as fast as possible to avoid the danger!

After a detailed briefing of our gamemaster (whereby it is difficult to listen concentrated due to the volume level), the game starts.

It takes place in a real metro train carriage – so no replica!!
In general, the immersion has been well achieved in this scenario and is additionally enhanced by various effects (sounds and more) in addition to the authentic means of transport.

Some of the puzzles may be a bit abstract, but still well integrated into the theme, for example by using components of the Metrowagon.

3-4 players is a suitable team size for THE METRO.
