“Guys, what the hell is a Can Farigola?”, I remember asking the other tour mates again and again as we made our way to the room.

Well, I later got the answer to that, which is “an extremely peculiar landlord with an extremely doubtful get rich quick scheme”.

This room was the first room of the creators of the Tao Japanese Massage Center escape room, and while the rooms are very different, some aspects of the vibe of the rooms make it clear that both rooms were created by the same people. Don’t get me wrong, no kimonos here, and this room is much more of a classic one, and yet, after playing both games, it’s hard not to draw a few very positive similarities.

Can Farigola is great.
One of its puzzles is a bit… fidgity, but it’s also simply fantastic, so who really cares.
It has excellent puzzles and excellent progression between its parts, leading to its fantastic ending!
