I was very scared but equally intrigued to play this game.

In the reception at this venue is a clear number of people that have ‘tapped’ out and have not played, I was worried I might become an extra digit on the tally. Fortunately I didn’t.

This game comes with plenty of warnings and an extra waiver…so why should I be worried?

Honestly I was terrified.

It’s no spoiler to know you will be blindfolded, restrained, abused both verbally and physically and more, but, guess what?

I LOVED IT! Maybe too much.

I think my team enjoyed it but loved may be a little bit much for them. I however spent nearly all the game with a huge smile on my face.

This game is not going to suit everyone but as long as you don’t take yourself too seriously then you will definitely have fun.

The start of the game felt a little unnerving but it’s in those few minutes that you get to grips with what is happening, you start understanding the concept and the game.

The puzzles start straightaway and with other slightly sadistic elements thrown in, it really is hard to concentrate and not be slightly worried.

The game itself was fun, the puzzles were varied and the concept lends itself to people that want to enjoy a room that’s a bit different. Even more so if you are willing to really participate and give back.

Here’s a shocker… I pretty much laughed my way through this entire game. I was absolutely buzzing. (If you know, you know) Seeing things that push the dynamics of your team is also interesting. Probably best you play with people you like and maybe trust.

In our team, we all now know who has the sadistic side…yes that would be me.

The puzzles were a mix of physical, word, and lots of collaboration. ‘The game’ was made to play as a team and as a team we did.

I do think this will be a marmite game for some people but there wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

The venue was incredible. Our GM was awesome and you get from him as much as you put in.

Ignore the warnings and just go play this game. Leave your inhibitions at the door and enjoy yourself.
