Take a step inside the world of Viking gods, first stop, Thor’s Bar. No doubt, the Danes drank heavily, and Thor’s decided a bar is the best place to hide his hammer. Can we find Mjöllner.

Stylistically I found the room disappointing. It has spartan decorations and doesn’t blend to the Norse theme. While a few of the puzzles were bound to the theme, it didn’t feel like a cohesive story. Despite there being lots of intro text and things to read on the wall.

Puzzle-wise my opinion is mixed. There were some clever things to decipher and some definite duds.

This room suffered from needless dark. A couple of items were difficult to decipher due to bad lighting.

We were blocked by a compound puzzle, where you have to guess the correct placement and the correct ordering to place items. I’m not fundamentally opposed to this, but the expectation needs to be clear.

Overall Thors Bar was sparse, both with decorations and with puzzles.
